Loving those around us and meeting their needs is not something we are simply commanded to do; Christ’s love compels us. At Canvas Christian Church, we believe that being a faithful disciple means serving as God leads us and reveals opportunities, and we expect all members to be faithful to those ends. As a mission-minded fellowship, Canvas equips and empowers our members to be the church at all times and in every domain of their lives.
Canvas Christian Church works hard to serve those closest to our church—here in Cumming and Dawsonville and across all of North Georgia. Our outreach initiatives range from home repairs and purchasing groceries to serving at women’s shelters and soup kitchens. We have a passion for people because God is also passionate about them.
Canvas Christian Church is blessed to be filled with folks who have generous hearts; they give selflessly to all those in need. We have witnessed so many who the generosity of the members of Canvas has touched. That includes people near our church and those abroad. We seek to encourage the personal ministry of every believer, and therefore, Canvas provides mission opportunities to minister to people domestically and internationally so that all may hear the Gospel and be saved.
While we do our best to meet as many needs as possible, we recognize that Canvas is not equipped with necessary time, resources, or experience for every need. Therefore, we have compiled a list of local organizations with whom we serve alongside in order to minister to the hearts of our community effectively.
