“Canvas Kids” is a high-energy program for children to learn about Jesus! It includes joyous worship, relevant lessons with the point being reinforced by drama and music, age-specific centers, and so much more. The kids meet simultaneously during our main service to allow parents to worship unincumbered, knowing their child is safe and having a blast.
While equipping kids is a large part of what we do here at Canvas Kids, we also believe faith is a family sport. We want to equip kids and parents so that they can better support kids on their faith journey. Parents are provided a weekly email with information regarding current events, teachings, and take-home materials to start conversations outside of Sunday to help children reiterate and retain what they are learning in the classroom. In addition to this, we host quarterly events for families to come together in fellowship and encourage them to invite our community to fulfill our vision and mission.
Canvas Kids meets every Sunday morning with classrooms for kids 0-12 years, or up to 5th Grade. Our weekly lessons consist of a monthly virtue as well as a monthly memory verse to reinforce foundational truths to prepare them for the transition to Canvas Students. In addition to Sunday mornings, Canvas Kids aims to have a monthly outreach such as serving a local charity or community to teach kids to live out their faith alongside parents and other members of the church body.
The children are given snacks on Sunday mornings during their classes.

New families should expect to be greeted at the Welcome Center, where we will be happy to help you register your children and accompany you to their classrooms. For your own peace of mind, we assure you that all teachers and other child volunteers are background-checked, trained, and supervised.
Pre-register your children to facilitate a smoother initial check-in for you and your family.
Yes, all volunteers must undergo an extensive background check before being allowed to work with children. This protects the church and your child. Additionally, all volunteers are assessed regarding capabilities and spiritual gifts to ensure that they are a good fit for our kids and that the program is faithful in building young disciples.
