Canvas Christian Church’s young adults is a fun-loving community of individuals who are fully alive in Christ. We know that the transitional life stage from student ministry to adult ministry is not always clear. However, we believe the life you live and the legacy you leave are heavily influenced by the decisions you make between the ages of 18-30. These decisions include how you pursue Jesus and choose to spend your time and influence. Therefore, we offer a number of opportunities for you to continue in discipleship as you navigate life’s transitions.
For many, building a family starts early, but they lack the necessary support and resources to steward their time and energy well, especially as they are just beginning their careers. As Canvas Christian Church, we desire to come alongside and serve you and your family. We want to help you grow as new parents and show you what building a Christ-centered family looks like practically while remaining spiritually and emotionally engaged.
In this transitional period, there are countless influences on one’s spiritual formation. Through our discipleship groups, Canvas seeks to partner with and serve our young adults by helping them build a life that is scripturally faithful and honors God. Based on the model in Acts 2, these discipleship groups are designed to help you grow through a community of fellow believers. They meet regularly, and anyone can join at any time.
Canvas Christian Church offers an assortment of Bible studies for young adults. These studies meet regularly and around a specific book or topic. Some of the studies are designed specifically for young adults, while others include people from all stages of life. Regardless, these studies offer a place for everyone to learn and grow together.
Our young adults love having fun. After all, who doesn’t? At Canvas, we offer an assortment of events and activities to build relationships and offer a casual, non-threatening environment for inviting friends, including non-believers. Talk about school, work, life, or simply relax. Regardless, be yourself and enjoy some time of fun and laughter with friends.
Young adults are typically in a season where they find a bit more time available to them and are looking for ways to get involved. They are searching for a tribe of like-minded people. Canvas offers our young adults many opportunities to serve—many ways to use their gifts and talents to love others and make a difference. These service opportunities develop long-lasting relationships.
