WHERE EVERY LIFE IS A CANVAS AND EVERY LIFE MATTERS TO GOD

UPDATES / PRAYER REQUESTS

BUILDING UPDATES
The FOCO civil engineer has approved our land disturbance silt fencing installation. Also approved is the concrete cleanup pit behind the office. It’s lined to protect the soil below and will be cleaned out and taken to an approved landfill when filled or finished. The heavy gravel at the juncture of the residence driveway and Settingdown Road is for muddy trucks leaving our property.

The FOCO arborist has approved our tree protection fencing.

The seven-day letter from CSC to FOCO has been received and approved by FOCO. This is the letter required from our civil engineer to the county approving the several plans that have been installed according to his plan thus taking responsibility for the execution and efficacy of the protections required by the county.

These last few steps are now behind us and you will begin to see heavy equipment appear on-site. And they will begin to prepare the site for construction.

Also, working with the contractor to prepare the pavilion site through the construction of our pavilion. That site is marked with blue ribbon stakes.

CHURCHWIDE PRAYER REQUESTS:
1. Pray for our staff and leadership.
2. Pray for our Building Committee and Vision Team.
3. Pray for the Community and the lost to come to know Jesus.
4. Pray for everyone to become Disciples of Jesus and MAKE MORE DISCIPLES!

BUILDING COMMITTEE UPDATE
We are forming a sub-committee of the Building committee.  The new committee will be made up of a few men and women who are gifted and skilled in decorating, coordinating and the beautification of the interior of our new facility on Settingdown Road.  It may seem early but it’s not.  We will be ordering the “Retail Glass Doors” soon and they need to complement the exterior of our planned facility.  If you would like to learn more about this please contact Ray Vorbeck at ray.vorbeck@gmail.com for a more complete job description.
