Tim Tinsley, Chairman

My name is Tim Tinsley and my wife’s name is Debbie. We have been married for 12 years and have 5 children between us and 2 grandchildren. I have served as an Elder at Canvas for several years and look forward to serving again. I believe GOD has great plans for Canvas Christian Church and we are blessed to be a part of it.

Wayne Caton

Hello and welcome to Canvas Christian Church. My name is Wayne Caton. I married my high school sweetheart, Sandy in 1967. God has blessed us with two children and four grandchildren. Soon after meeting Stan in FL when he came to our church with his father, Tom, and his wife, we felt God calling us back to our family in GA. We visited FCC (now Canvas) the first Sunday back and we are still here. This is my second term as an elder at Canvas; I also served in FL. In my spare time I enjoy bowling and golf as they both keep me humble. I am also a Forsyth County court appointed special advocate (CASA) volunteer, advocating for children that aren’t able to advocate for themselves. It is an honor to serve with my fellow brothers as an elder at Canvas. Sandy and I love our church family. God has blessed Canvas abundantly; He has great things in store for Canvas going forward.

Stacy Reeves

Hello, my name is Stacy Reeves. Karen and I have been married since 1998. We visited the church in 1999 and became members in 2000. We have three children and have been actively serving in the nursery since becoming members. Karen recently became the nursery director and we are both leading D-groups. I enjoy watching racing and relaxing on the beach. I am extremely blessed to serve with a group of Godly men and can't wait to see where He leads me next.

Randy Watson

My name is Randy Watson, my wife Karen and I have been married for 32 years. We have 3 sons Randy, David, and Tyler and 5 granddaughters. My favorite past time is college football, fishing, watching NHRA drag racing, and of course playing with my grandkids. Karen and I have been members of Canvas since 1992. I have previously served as an Elder and I am looking forward to serving our Lord and congregation again.

We are Mike & Lynn Britt and we have attended Canvas Christian Church since late 2017. We have 2 grown children (Rebekah & Joshua) who are both married and involved in ministry themselves. We also have 4 grandchildren (Joseph, Simon, Abigail, & Evelyn) and one of our greatest joys in life is to spend time with all of them. Lynn is a Registered Nurse and has worked at Northside Hospital-Forsyth for the past 14 years. Mike has worked with Forsyth County Schools for the past two years and taught in Cherokee County for 13 years. Prior to moving to Cumming, Mike served as an Elder at Oak Leaf Church in Canton. He also served as Senior Pastor of several churches over the course of 20 years of ministry in Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas.

Mike’s life verses are Philippians 3:10-14 “… I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14 NIV
