WHERE EVERY LIFE IS A CANVAS AND EVERY LIFE MATTERS TO GOD

WHO  WE  ARE

Stan Percival,
Lead Pastor

Hi, I'm Stan Percival. My wife, Janet, and I moved to Cumming in September, 2008. We have two daughters, Amy and Amber, who are out of the house but find their way back quite often.

Janet and I began our ministry in 1982 and had the privilege of starting a church as church planters in Naples, Florida, and relocating a church that had been in existence for 50 years in St. Petersburg, Florida, to another area in the city.

When I graduated from Lincoln Christian College, I prayed that God would use me in whatever way He saw fit. I have only one life on this earth, and I want to use it all for Him. I hope that you will come and visit us at Canvas. This church has a great deal to offer, and I am thankful to be a part of it.

Heather Anderson,

Hi. My name is Randy Grimes. I am married to Teresa, my high school sweetheart, for 40 years. We have 11 children. Yes, 11. Ages 38-12. We have 6 grandchildren that are a true joy.  Our family is so blessed.
We have had an adoption and foster care ministry for over 20 years.  We have helped families across the United States adopt and have helped many churches create and start foster care ministries.
In 2002, I was ordained as a minister and planted a church here in Forsyth County.  The church was unique and was able to reach many homeless and underserved communities. From 2015-2021, I served on church staffs around Hall and Forsyth Counties.  Serving as outreach pastor to long term interim.  My heart is to share the gospel, teach others to share the gospel, and to love on those that are in need.
I am so blessed to be a part of Canvas and to be a part of something that is a part of God's plan.
My hobbies center around sports and family. I have coached football in Forsyth county for over 20 years.  I love to help young boys become young men.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if I can help in any way.

Carly Sargo,

Hi, I'm Carly Sargo! I was born and raised here in Cumming, Georgia. I currently live in North Forsyth with my husband and our four huskies, Simba, Nala, Koda and Gus. I have several years of experience in the customer service field. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and reading. After many years of worship at other local churches, we were incredibly lucky to find Canvas in October of 2021, and by February of 2022 decided it was the church for us. I am so blessed to join the team and can't wait to help guide our younger congregation to Christ. If I can be of any assistance please don't hesitate to reach out!
